Our church began as a Filipino Language Church in 1913 to serve the need of Christian ministry among early Filipino plantation
immigrants.In 1953 the members voted to become exclusively Methodist. In 1975 the name was born: Aldersgate Methodist Church..
the Church of the Warm Heart." In 1968 Aldersgate assumed its current name, Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
With each challenge we have encountered, we became stronger in our faith. We may provide links to other sites that
